The Formax FD 6104 inserter brings advanced automation to entry-level tabletop inserting, allowing businesses of any size to streamline their mailing processes. Its affordable design eliminates the need for high mail volumes to justify automation—making it a smart solution for everyday operations.

A 5” full-color touchscreen control panel with intuitive, wizard-based software guides users step-by-step through setup and operation. Frequently used jobs can be saved for quick access—up to 15 programmable jobs are available for simple, one-touch processing. Clear icons on the home screen display the real-time status of each feeder for easy monitoring.

Equipped with two fully automatic sheet feeders and one insert/BRE feeder, the FD 6104 handles a wide range of folding and inserting tasks. It accommodates documents up to 14” long and processes up to 1,350 finished envelopes per hour. Electromagnetic double-document detection ensures accuracy with every envelope, and an energy-saving standby mode activates after one hour of inactivity.

For additional flexibility, an optional Fold-only C-Fold Kit is available—ideal for producing tri-fold brochures and marketing materials without inserting them into envelopes. The kit installs easily, without tools, by replacing the standard moistener kit.
